I love her braid out and I might have try to do mine this way.My braid outs come out defined but the curls are everywhere lol.
Fabulous advice! I have the exact same type of hair, and I'm always trying to achieve that kind of braidout. Sadly, it always ends in a hot mess of misplaced curls and waves. Gonna try it the MopTopMaven way and see what happens. Thank you!
One of the first times I've actually seen a person with pretty much the same curl pattern I have. Now, I can try to follow some of these steps and increase the styles I can wear as I transition. It never looks right when I've done it before but I was missing some steps.
I don't normally do braid-outs, I think they put too much manipulation and frizz for my (shorter, slightly thinner hair) but i was REALLY surprised about how little product she used. I always use a ton of product (I feel as though my hair has to completely coated and saturated) but will definitely be trying only a dab next time I twist. Hopefully it works as well for me && I can end up saving product --> saving $$ :)

I love this site and the DYI tutorials. I consider myself "hair challenged" because I am so used to going to the salon. But I am attempting to go natural at least until summer and need to learn to shampoo and condition, etc. for myself. The tutorials are great tools for me. Thanks so much!
